McLaren Rental Las Vegas
McLaren 720S — 710 horsepower, dihedral doors, carbon fiber monocoque. Delivered free to any Strip hotel or Harry Reid Airport. $1,195/day.
Our Las Vegas McLaren Fleet
The Supercar Built by a Formula 1 Team.
McLaren is the only manufacturer in our Las Vegas rental fleet that has built a Formula 1 car. Every other brand we rent — Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Mercedes — traces its roots back to road cars that eventually went racing. McLaren went the other way. The company has 183 F1 wins, 12 drivers' championships, and 8 constructors' championships. The road cars are engineered by the same team that builds the F1 cars, and it shows in every panel of the 720S.
The McLaren 720S is the car that put McLaren on the same shelf as Ferrari and Lamborghini. It has a carbon fiber monocoque chassis that weighs less than 80 kg, a 710-horsepower twin-turbo V8 that launches it to 60 in 2.8 seconds, and a visibility design called the glass cockpit that makes city driving easier than in any other supercar. It is the one McLaren in our Las Vegas fleet and it is the car we rent to drivers who want something that the Strip does not see every night of the week.
McLaren 720S — $1,195/day
The 720S is McLaren's mid-range supercar and the one that defined the brand's second decade. A 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 makes 710 horsepower, top speed is 212 mph, 0 to 60 happens in 2.8 seconds, and the car weighs under 3,000 pounds dry thanks to its carbon fiber monocoque. The dihedral doors open upward to reveal a cabin with a glass cockpit that gives the best rear three-quarter visibility of any supercar we have driven.
The 720S is the car we recommend for drivers who have driven a Ferrari or Lamborghini before and want something different. It handles with more precision than a Huracan, shifts quicker than a 488 Spider, and stops harder than both. The chassis is tuned by Proactive Chassis Control II, which reads 12 sensors and adjusts each damper 500 times per second. On a desert highway the 720S pulls so hard at 100 mph that the speedometer keeps climbing faster than your brain can track. It is the supercar for the enthusiast.
Why the 720S is Different From Other Supercars
The glass cockpit. Other supercars have terrible visibility. The 720S has huge windows because McLaren designers added glass panels to the bottom of the side mirrors and a panoramic roof that extends almost to the rear of the cabin. Parallel parking at the Bellagio valet is actually easy.
The weight. At 2,828 pounds dry, the 720S is 300 to 500 pounds lighter than most cars in its class. You feel it in corners, in braking zones, and in the way the car changes direction. It is the closest thing to a street-legal race car we have in the fleet.
The monocoque. McLaren road cars are built around a carbon fiber tub, same as an F1 car. It is stronger, lighter, and safer than an aluminum or steel chassis. It also makes the 720S feel more solid than any other supercar over bumps and manhole covers on Las Vegas Boulevard.
The rarity. McLaren produces roughly 5,000 cars per year globally, compared to 11,000 Ferraris and 10,000 Lamborghinis. You will see dozens of Huracans and 488s in any Vegas nightclub valet line. Spotting a 720S in the same lineup is rare.

Best Places to Drive a McLaren in Las Vegas
The 720S is the one car in our fleet that deserves an actual open road. It is overkill for the Strip and it is designed for the kind of speed you can only find outside the city limits.
Red Rock Canyon Scenic Loop. 13 miles, moderate traffic, smooth pavement, and a few uphill straights where the 720S can finally stretch its legs. The best early-morning drive in the area.
Valley of Fire State Park. 45 miles each way from downtown. The scenic drive through the park is one of the most photogenic roads in Nevada and the 720S looks incredible against the red sandstone formations.
US-95 North toward Mount Charleston. A long uphill grade with switchbacks that tests the chassis and brakes. The elevation change from 2,000 to 8,000 feet gives the 720S's twin-turbo V8 a workout.
Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch (Pahrump). 60 miles west of Vegas. The 720S is one of the few rental cars at SMMR that owners allow on the track. Open track days are Saturday and Sunday — ask us about arranging a weekend rental that includes a track session.
Las Vegas Boulevard at night. Slow and visible. The dihedral doors create a 30-second photo opportunity every time you arrive at a hotel valet. Worth doing at least once.
McLaren 720S vs Ferrari F8 Spider
The closest comparison in our fleet is the F8 Spider. Both have twin-turbo V8s. Both make 710 horsepower. Both are rear-wheel drive. Both are convertibles — except the 720S is technically a coupe with a panoramic roof. The differences that matter:
Weight: 720S is 200 lbs lighter than the F8 Spider.
Braking: 720S stops 2 feet shorter from 60 mph.
Cornering: 720S has more grip due to lighter weight and better chassis tuning.
Sound: F8 Spider wins — the Ferrari exhaust is louder and more musical.
Interior: F8 Spider wins — Ferrari's cabin is more plush and more driver-focused.
Price: F8 Spider is $100 less per day.
Rarity: 720S wins — you will see more Ferraris on the Strip than McLarens.
The short answer: take the McLaren if you are an enthusiast and you care about the driving dynamics. Take the Ferrari if you are here for the experience and the emotion.

Las Vegas McLaren Rental FAQ
How much does it cost to rent a McLaren in Las Vegas?
The McLaren 720S rents for $1,195 per day. Rates include 150 free miles per day, full insurance coverage, and free delivery to any Strip hotel, Harry Reid Airport, Summerlin, or Henderson. Weekly and multi-day rates offer discounts off the daily rate.
Is the McLaren 720S hard to drive?
No. The 720S is one of the easiest modern supercars to drive in traffic thanks to the glass cockpit, Proactive Chassis Control II, and well-weighted steering. It is approachable for drivers who have never been behind the wheel of a supercar before, while still being track-capable for experienced drivers. We give every renter a full pre-drive walkthrough that covers the dihedral doors, drive modes, and launch control.
Can I take the McLaren to a track day at Spring Mountain?
Yes, with advance notice and a signed track day addendum. We require 72 hours' notice, proof of prior track experience, and an additional $500 track-day deposit. The 720S is one of the few rental cars allowed on the SMMR full course. Contact us to coordinate a track weekend package.
What is the security deposit for the McLaren 720S?
The security deposit is $10,000 for the McLaren 720S, held on a credit card for the duration of the rental. It is released in full within 5 to 7 business days after return assuming no damage, no traffic citations, and no cleaning fees.
Is the McLaren 720S a convertible?
Our 720S is the coupe configuration with a panoramic glass roof. The roof does not retract but it provides an open-air feel thanks to the large glass panels above the driver and passenger. A fully convertible 720S Spider is available in McLaren's global lineup but we do not currently have one in our Las Vegas fleet.
How much horsepower does the McLaren 720S have?
The 720S produces 710 metric horsepower (720 PS — hence the 720S name) from a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. Zero to 60 mph takes 2.8 seconds and top speed is 212 mph. The car weighs under 3,000 lbs dry, giving it one of the best power-to-weight ratios in our fleet.
