Rolls-Royce Cullinan vs Lamborghini Urus Rental in Las Vegas
Two super SUVs. Both cost six figures to buy. Both seat 4+ people. Both get you noticed at every valet line in Las Vegas. But they're built for completely different people.
The Rolls-Royce Cullinan and Lamborghini Urus are the two most popular luxury SUV rentals in our Las Vegas fleet, and the question we hear most is: which one should I get? This is the honest comparison -- specs, ride quality, vibe, and which one actually fits your trip.
The Numbers Side by Side

| Seats | 5 | 4 |
| Drivetrain | AWD | AWD |

| Transmission | 8-Speed Automatic | 8-Speed Automatic |
On paper, the Urus wins the performance categories -- more horsepower, faster 0-60, higher top speed. But numbers don't tell you what these two cars actually feel like. That's where they diverge completely.
What the Cullinan Feels Like
The Cullinan doesn't feel fast. It feels like the road is being ironed flat in front of you. Rolls-Royce calls their suspension system "Magic Carpet Ride" and it's not marketing BS -- the car reads the road ahead with cameras and pre-adjusts the dampers before you hit a bump. You don't feel the bumps. You don't hear the road. You don't hear much of anything.
The cabin is the main event. Hand-stitched leather that smells like a London private club. Lamb's wool floor mats. A Starlight headliner with 1,344 fiber optic lights mapped to actual constellations. The rear coach doors open backward, which means your passengers step out facing forward -- a small detail that Rolls-Royce has been doing for over a century because it looks better in photos and at valet circles.
The V12 makes 563 hp but it's so quiet you'll forget it's there. The Cullinan accelerates like a yacht -- smooth, steady, inevitable. You don't punch it. You let it go. See the Cullinan.
What the Urus Feels Like
The Urus is the opposite philosophy in the same body style. Lamborghini took their supercar DNA and crammed it into an SUV. The 4.0L twin-turbo V8 sounds angry at idle and mean under load. The exhaust pops and crackles on downshifts. The steering is sharp. The body roll is minimal for something this heavy. It's an SUV that drives like a sports car, and that's not an exaggeration -- 0-60 in 3.6 seconds is faster than most Porsches.
Inside, it's Lamborghini through and through. Hexagonal design cues everywhere, carbon fiber trim, a flat-bottom steering wheel with drive mode buttons. The seats are sport-bolstered and hold you in place during hard cornering. The rear seat fits 2 adults comfortably; a third is tight.
Where the Cullinan says "I've arrived," the Urus says "get out of my way." Totally different energy. See the Urus.
Which One for Which Trip?
Here's my honest take on when to book each one:
Book the Cullinan if:
- It's a wedding or anniversary. The coach doors, the Starlight headliner, the photo opportunities -- the Cullinan was built for this. No contest.
- You're entertaining business clients. Nothing says "we do well" like picking someone up in a Rolls-Royce. It's professional luxury, not party-car energy.
- You want comfort over speed. A full day of driving -- airport pickup, Strip dinner, scenic drive -- is effortless in the Cullinan. You won't be tired at the end.
- You have 5 people. The Cullinan seats 5 with genuine rear legroom. The Urus maxes at 4 comfortably.
Book the Urus if:
- It's a bachelor party or birthday. The Urus has the loud, aggressive energy that matches a party trip. Pull up to a nightclub in the Urus and the valet will park it out front where everyone can see it.
- You actually want to drive. The Urus is more engaging behind the wheel. Take it to Red Rock Canyon and push it through the corners -- it'll surprise you with how flat it stays.
- You want the Lamborghini badge. There's a reason Lamborghini sells more Uruses than any other model. The brand hits different for a lot of people, especially in Vegas.
- Budget matters (slightly). At $995/day vs $1,095/day, the Urus saves you $100/day. Over a 3-day rental, that's $300.
The Honest Downsides
Neither of these is perfect. The Cullinan is massive -- parking in tight Vegas garages takes patience, and you'll use the cameras a lot. It's also not exciting to drive. If you want thrills, the Cullinan will bore you. It's a living room on wheels, and that's the point, but it's worth knowing up front.
The Urus ride is firm. Lamborghini tuned it for handling, not comfort. Over Vegas's rougher roads, you'll feel every expansion joint. The rear seat is also significantly smaller than the Cullinan's -- don't plan on putting 3 full-size adults back there for a long drive.
Can't Decide? Rent Both
This sounds ridiculous, but it happens more than you'd think. Groups of 6-8 will rent the Urus for the daytime driving experience and the Cullinan for the evening valet entrance. At a combined $2,090/day it's not cheap, but it's cheaper than splitting the group across three Ubers and a lot more memorable.
For groups on a tighter budget, consider the Mercedes G63 at $695/day -- it splits the difference between the Urus's aggression and the Cullinan's luxury, and it's $300-$400/day less than either.
